Minor Update/Bug Fix v1.2.1.0


Hello again.

Since v1.2.0.0 release of the demo, a few people managed to find some very nasty bugs that needed to be fixed. Thus, in this three-day searching period, I'd like to present a fixed version of MA:EA's current state.

- Added flashing animation for dash to increase readability of Gem's invulnerability period.

- Updated Mimiga icon for Carrying Care quest.

- Changed save overwrite notice mentioning from "save disk" to "save crystal".

- Slight increase of Green and Power Critters' bottom hitbox.

- Decreased animation speed of "cobweb breakout" hints.

- Decreased the amount of "escape points" needed to break out of cobweb.

- Amount of falling rocks while cave collapse has been reduced.

- A cracked wall to Arachnida's arena has been removed.

- Falling rocks can now be blocked with shield.

- Screen shaking from cave collapse has been separated from normal quakes of other sources.

- Decreased empowered drop dash's projectiles' damage by 1/2/2.

- Slight improvement of Tutorial's text grammar (the rest will be improved upon returning the language option).

- Nerfed Slime Bomber's HP (20 -> 14).

- Nerfed Spider's HP (10 -> 6).

- Nerfed Cave Snail's HP (25 -> 20).

- Few minor script changes.

- Updated statue sprite in Anzen Village.

- Changed backup melody instrument in Cemetery track.

\/ FIXES: \/

- Bowl of Flakes now have a missing "consumable" flag.

- Fixed incorrect spawn position for Gem after saving Melissa.

- Fixed a bug, where upon deleting an item from inventory through TSC scripts, a cursor would be taken out of bounds.

- Repositioned Dazed caret.

- Fixed an oversight with Bowl of Flakes making scripts not playing the intended fanfare.

- Text color now resets to white upon exiting the save file while any color is applied through TSC command.

- Fixed the item buying routine for shops (for good I hope).

- Cracked Shield will now drop from Guardian properly upon reaching the second phase.

- Fixed Redonshi Village's Rest Area resting event not resuming the music.

- Lava is now able to deal damage to Gem again.

- Fixed a script oversight with doors in Gedon's House not having their assigned events.

-* Fixed a script oversight which allows to complete Carrying Care/Evacuation of Mine quests easily.

- Wall sliding animation will now display correctly upon latching after spin attack while holding Up/Down direction key.

- Corrected petals' spawn position after destroying Plantter's flower.

- Restored intended behavior of Arachnida's venomous shots.

- Restored Crystal Heart reward after secret boss' defeat.

- Fixed Arachnida's Web Ball not being able to spawn spiders.

- Slime Bomber now has it's death sound.

- Fixed incorrect quest display after getting three gemstones.
